I know it wont be a 3D machine, but it is an icon in the aerobatic world after all is said and done.

Zackly... it's gotta float pretty good. Every single decath I have owned over the years has been a tip stallin' heavy winged pig.

I would think those things would float like a kite.

For a little extra insurance maybe try a 220. But don't spend the extra money. Tom sells a gas 50cc motor @ Wild Hare for 399. You might want to look into that.

I have one. I got it because it seemed like a fun plane for busy days at the field. But after a couple flights I realized it just isn't my type of plane. Anyone want to buy a Super D.

I know this thread is about the RC Guys Super Decathlon but does anybody out there have one of the kit built Dynaflite Super Decathlons. It has about an 89" wingspan. One of the LHS's has one of these kits and I have a spare DA50 that needs a home....
