All you guys using hot glue... you’re killing me.

Try it this way and you'll never go back: wrap your servos with masking tape (the 3m green tape works great) then use foam safe thick CA and a little kicker to attach the servo to the foam.
Also do this to your speed controller and your rx. This way your can reuse everything without damaging it.
Also for wire management, put a little bit of masking tape around the servo wire you want to glue down, and CA it to the foam. KEEP IT LIGHT.

all i used for the graphics is zagi tape it works great. and i built the hole plane with foam safe ca and for the esc and receiver i always use Velcro it seems to work good and ca for the servos like pedro said

Looks good Dee Jay! Like the color definition fo shoo.

Mr. Pedro, tragicaly, my hot glue gun has been retired after only 8 hours in my shop. This has been a very traumatic experience for me. Please don't make this embarrassment any harder.

I've made the decision to hangar my BAFY until the Vegas show in a few weeks. Then it's game on.

next year I'll jump back into the fray. Hopefully by then, my 10 year old competition will take on new honny interests so I can have a fighting chance. The real question is are you coming to vegas, or are you going to blow your entire weekend on one flight at that airshow up north?

We'll letcha off the hook this time DJ, but your gonna have to bring back some pics for all of us. Airshows are a blast, especially if you have an invite to fly in one! If they had a one trick pony airshow where wall to solid hover was the main event, I'd be the star of the show.

But enuf about me, oops, back to Mike's thread.

I know they do this on the indoor F3A foamies to add drag which assists in downline braking. Not sure whay you need it on an outdoor foamie.

DJ - I love the scheme. The orange and black is a really nice contrast.

I've had 3 people ask on my Yak too. Just make something up and have fun with them.
