You are going to love this airplane. Great choice! If you have any questions during the build just let me know.

Thx Scott, how does it fly on the hacker 30? Good 3d capability or wish you had more? I don't want to be underpowered ya know. This will be my first of the bigger size electrics. Gettin anxious for it to get here

The 10xl is a perfect motor for the airplane. I am flying it on a 3s2100 and a 14x7 APC propellor. It has more than enough power for anything you want to do. You can also go up to a 4S pack, but you have to prop it down a little. 4s is just ridiculous....in an awesome way.

I am thinking I might need a 4s pack but I am planning on putting in a E-Flite 25BL which I think has a lower kv than the Hacker.
Has anyone else tried this motor?

It will need modifications to the motor mount, as the cowl is too short for that motor. I got one in FG colors last week, but I had the stock Extra before. 10XL, 14x7E, TPX2200 3s will get you ~500W. With 3s it has more than enough power, the only draw back is the flight time. I was getting only a lil over 5 min of full 3D flying. It's simply an awesome flyer!

Anyone else have a problem with the wing retaining system?
I broke mine plugging the wing in for the first time. I need to figure out a way to either replace that CF rod or switch to a different system.
