Ward,
The slots and hooks thing is explained in the addendum part of the instructions. Inside the fuse there are two rods that sit vertically on each side of the fuse right over the slot where the wing hooks slide in. Bend the rods forward, slide the wing in and then let the rod snap back into the hook part of the wing.

Wayne, What method is used to hold the Canopy & Hatch? I just saw a picture that showed a carbon rod & rubber bands. |

Damn Ward, sorry. I misread your post.
The Hatch hold down is also on the adendum. I used the rod with two collars on it. One on each end. The rubber bands go around the rod in the fuse and are just used to hold pressure on the rod. You pull the rod forward allowing the slots in the hatch to slip in, push the hatch down and re-lease the rod. The rubber bands help the rod slide back to engage the hooks. Is that clear enough or you want a pic? Its hard to type it out but its really simple..

Works great, there was mention in the ademdum about modifying
one of the hooks on the hatch to make it a one handed operation. |

I'm waiting for a weather break to fly mine. Has anyone used a 11.1v 3-cell 2200mah / 6 oz. battery with their set-up? Mine would be a little on the tail-heavy side. A 11.1v 4-cell puts on the nose-heavy side.
Any input is appreciated ......... Ward |

For 3-D stuff, balance on or slightly aft of the wing tube, with the canopy off.
And a "heads up",,,, the Katana MD wing tube is a drop in after shortening about 21mm. It is available from Atlanta Hobbys for about $8. http://www.atlantahobby.com/shopexd.asp?id=6758 HIGHLY RECOMENDED ! ![]() ![]()
