Default Smartfly super or turbo reg - amp calculation

How do you guys calculate the amp requirements for a 35% plane (3D flying) with 8 digital servos and 2 analog servos? The super reg can take up to 7.5A while the turbo is up to 17.5A

I think the Turbo reg is overkill for any 35% plane and i would go with the super reg. Here are some data from TBM.

I have two 35% planes , one has the Turbo reg and the other has the
Super reg . IMHO I think the Turbo reg looks much cooler bit it could
also do with some lights . LOL

if you are planning to fly hard 3D I would go with the turbo regulator, anyways I think the diference is only $50

I did data testing in a 35% plane with 8 8711 servos. These tests were done flying pattern and 3D. My average amp draw was 2 amps. My peak amp draw was 9.5 amps, this was only for a 1/5 of a second. The Super Reg is the correct reg for your application. It can handle 15 amps for short period or 7.5 amps constant.
