Houston Huckfest Q & A IT'S TEXAS BABEEE!

They say we do it bigger here in Texas, we plan on doing our best to live up to expextations.

I have been contacted by several people asking questions, I am sure others have questions too, so here ya go, ask away.

Some I have had:

Q. Lights?
A. Yea, big ass construction lights that light up the field. No need to add lights to yer plane.

Q. Camping/RV.
A. Plenty of room. No hook ups for RV's. Bomber Field's event in September has 300 pilots or so and most of them camp/rv.

Q. Lake?
A. Yeppers. Water runway. Has fish, too.

Q. How many people are showing?
A. I donno. If half of the people who should be at the event, who are in the Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Austin, SA, Corpus, The Valley and East Texas areas, show up, there should be in excess of a 100 pilots. There is a good buzz about the event. I know of folks from LA, AK and OK comming.

Q. Whats with everything being able to fly?
A. It is an open 3D event, there are size limitations. Most events follow IMAA rules. This ain't a IMAA event. It's just a 3D fly in. There will be no discrimination at this event.

Q. Won't having all these different size planes create a problem?
A. Never has in the past, so I see no reason it would create one now. There is enough flight line for everyone.

Q. Night time mixer.
A. You betcha.

Response. WHAT? Partisipate. Need help, bring yer bird. Can't figure out that trick, bring yer bird. Don't know if the setup is right, bring yer bird. If you have a plane that is suppose to 3D, bring it, fly it. If you don't, you are going to be sorry. Don't worry about it, there are plenty of people who say they suck too. You don't suck, fly.

You got one of DWFoamies Big Ass YAKs! Those are great fun to fly. Probably the easiest thing to hover I have ever flown. Have you flown it yet?

Tony, Tony, Tony!
We are excited about coming to this! Ed & Pam gonna make it? Kyle and I are trying to get a second plane ready for this. We'll be making the jog from Conroe. Let us know if you need help with anything once we are there. We'll be bringing an industrial sized container of Snapasauraus Badasssssssss to share with everyone.

We'll have to make sure the gator (or is there two or three in there now?) is out of the float flying pond so Max will have a place to take a refreshing dip. I'm not sure it's gonna matter. Max looks like he could take on a five footer like you and I could. He'll be alright. (You don't think he's going to get scared off with a little Texas style, night-time diversion do ya? I suppose there's always the bull riding over in the next pasture we can let him partake of....... He's such a funster!)

I'm thinking catch a flight to Shreveport......drive to Houston with you guys and then leave again from Shreveport.


But I'll need to borrow a plane.......something big!

I don't think Kevin has flown but 2-3 times this year and Jonas is traveled out. None of them made it to DOD last week which was an awesome event. I would go but traveled out as well.
