Default Parachutist fails to pull cords..........

Hey guys,
I just had to put a link to this video I just watched by Dan nO.

http://www.flyinggiants.com/gallery/...hp?photo=31097

I just about spewed coffie on the the screen when the camera walked up and saw the little guy twitching.
I know, I know, I have a sick since of humor.

That's some funny stuff right there. My uncle and I have a couple of the old Graupner Junior Jumpers. One day we were flying it and I told him to go up really high. He circled climbing for a while, set up the drop spot, and I said let him go. Nothing happened. He kept hitting the release and nothing. Made a low pass and the little sucker is gone. We looked for a while, but not knowing where he fell off we kind of figured he was lost for good. Fast forward about 2.5 months later. My aunt was upstairs and heard the driveway alarm sound. By the time she got down stairs there was nobody there. She walked around back and there sitting on the grill was the little dude. He had one stripped servo and that was it. Those things are a riot. Great video guys.

Hey Wiz, I thought you were a medic. What took you so long to get to the scene? I glad I wasn't the one that needed help.

Hey Wizzard,

You were supposed to yell "SnapaSkyDiver....BadAss!" on the way down

There was a LOT of things that were said off camera as to Snap this and Snap that after he hit the ground. Bren had a big time flying for Wizzard....they are gonna have to become a sky diving demo team lol.

This fall when it cools down some we are gonna have to get together again for a weekend somewhere.

Well update on the diver. He has had two rounds of surgery, one last night and the other today. He is back in one piece. After some investigation I believe I have found the reason that the chute never pulled. I have some minor repairs to perform on the canopy. I have also ordered a new crystal for the receiver. I don't like to take chances after an impact like that one. All in all he will be back in the air by the weekend.

Over the weekend, we talked about the fact that he did not have a name. Well it looks like "Lucky" has stuck.

About the speed of the walk out, I have always said "If you see me running try to keep up or pass me, because something bad is coming."

You saw my reaction. I was laughing the whole time.
