Default 2.3m Comp-Arf 330 - Need 3D Setup Help

I am the proud new owner of a comp-arf 2.3m extra 330. i bought the plane rtf and just added reciever and gas and have put about 15 flights on it in the last few days trying to dial it in. this is my first big 3d plane. I am just wondering if someone can help me with balance, setup, and trimming this thing. i know there is a proper way of getting it right, and programming a bunch of mixes on my radio are surely not it.

Here is what I have so far for setup:
3W 75toc swingin 24-10 wood prop
8611 on rudder
futaba 9351 on all other surfaces.
3300mah 5 cell on reciever
2200mah 4 cell on ignition.
control by spektrum dx7

ok, let me say that this is the nicest flying plane that i have ever set my thumbs to, but i just want to get it as close to perfect as i can.

My first issue was the throttle curve, i changed the geometry around and got that right. now i have gradual incriments of throttle all the way through the stick. good.

two issues so far:
(1)tucking to the belly on knife edge - i set a rudder-->elevator mix at 10% for high speed knife edge.. works good, no roll coupling to speak of - i also set a second rud-elev mix (both on 1 switch) for high alpha knife edge --- 25%!!!
is this normal or can i do something to get it closer to neutral??
(2)rocking wings on upright harrier -mabee just not fast enought fingers??

My flying style is mostly 3D training, ie i want to do it, just not very good yet. I have been flying 60-120 glow aircraft for 20 years and except for a pattern plane many moons ago, i have very little experience of actually flight trimming a model (beyond moving the trim tabs and programming mixes to mask errors)

Any help is much appreciated, i know this is probably basic to a lot of you.

Try going just a little bit more tail heavy to get rid of the wing rock. Also check under the Essentials portion on FG and view the mixing video with Andrew Jesky.
