Sleepy,
Nice bird! Great video! Herb Alpert and Neil Diamond in the same video? You could have ended the vid with a little Yellow Submarine! LOL!
Your mystery pilot did pretty good too........... That Max really twiddles a good stick! (Wasn't him, huh?)

No not really. But I don't know of any ARF that does.

Is this plane at par with all the other "quality" ARF kits available.
Yes sir I would say so. In fact in many ways better.
The construction is typical current (this year) ARF construction, lots and lots of laser cut interlocking I-beam type construction. But I do think Hangar 9's QC must be good because there were no flaws what-so-ever in regard to my plane. But where I think Hangar 9 goes a step beyond, is with the completeness of the kit, and the instructions.

Providing the builder (or assembler in this case) with exact measurements for servo arms and control horn height makes the plane fly as it should out of the box.

I did nothing special, and purposely followed the directions to a T, and what I got was a GREAT flying plane.
This is the first plane (Besides a few Cardens) that I felt like I was actually leading, instead of following and trying to correct.

But Rodger, its Roger...to answer your question in a few less words.. No its not a Dalton/Carden, but YES its a high quality ARF.
Thank you for your input, it is a very tempting airplane to say the least.
I appreciate you taking the time to do this.

Keep on flying.

Roger

Pretty durn good Mr Sleepy.

Looks like an excellent model to fly. It looked light on the wing and pretty locked in on the lines. I'm sure its a winner for Horizon but it also looks a winner for anyone wanting to go up in size without the need for a second mortgage on the house.

Good on ya mate.

Nice job Sleepy! Who was on the Sticks?

It looked to me, like someone who Flys IMAC and was forcing themselves to Fly 3D?
Was it Wayne?

The person on the sticks is a Mystery Pilot because the person has ties to certain companies, and to make his life easier.. for this instance he is MYSTERY PILOT X.
That way we got to enjoy his flying, and there were no political issues.
(not that there would be, but it was easier to keep it anonymous)

Hope you all can respect that!
