and I'm going to video a buddy of mine wringing it out. So we will give it the full Huckworthy award there after. I mean, Wayne already showed its capabilities, but we will add some more footage to the heap!

Sleepster,
No cowl baffling needed? (Can't see any in the pic.) I guess that huge opening in the front of the cowl is exactly that.......... Huge! Also, I remember seeing something about closing in the can area to keep heat out of the interior. Was this something you did or do you feel like it doesn't need it? WT |

I'm going with whats "in the book for now.
Which is no baffling, and no "closing in of the can box. I think the extra hole in the back of the cans will create a low pressure area and really suck the air out of the fuse, and bring the air through the fins of the DA. But I'll have my temp gun at the ready to make sure.

I FOUND a FUEL DOT!!
Ahhhh.. the classic lines of a nice DA fuel dot. I added some backing plywood and slapped in the DOT! (I even double walled the 1/8" ply trying to get the dot to be perfectly flush with the surrounding covering... but It pulled in just a scosch... oh well it looks alright)

Hey guys, I was looking at Horizon site, and was checking the cost of spare parts (just so I know)
And I found 2 things that are GREAT prices. The wheel pants which are NICE are only $18.00 (any one need any pants for other models?!) AND.... The PILOT IS ONLY $39.00!!!!! OMG.... this thing is just as nice as the $100+ pilots! I will be ordering a few of them!

Checked the fuel lines in the tank today, they are wire tied from the factory! But its only a 2 line, so I added a 3rd 1 pick up, one fill/with 2nd clunk and finally a vent.
Double checking everything and should be ready for a weekend maiden!
