Default rolling circles...

I just watched Tony's kick ass vids. I really like the rolling circles, especially when he makes it look so smooth. Is there some sort of video or article on how you keep the tail down while rolling? I have realflight g3.5 but the instructional on rolling circles isn't that great. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

what sort of plane do you have to try it? To keep the tail down you need a lot of throw on the rudder and elevator. If you enter the rolling circle out of a harrier it is easier to keep the tail down, since it is already down.

If you have more specific questions, go on...

The instructional video on G3 is for normal rolling circles, and not harrier rolling circles like what you want to learn. Basically, you want to fly the plane in a harrier as you're rolling. Height is controlled by throttle. I will try to make a recording for you of what I do . . . gimme a couple of minutes.

This is with the stock Yak 54 (3D) on G3. No changes need to be made to it. Harrier rolls are flown on 3D rates.

Just unzip the file into your recording folder under the Real Flight folder. Hope this helps!

practice slow rolls first, then lead with up elevator and hold in extra top side rudder after knife edge, from inverted hold down elevator a little longer.

For kigh alpha ones you just need timing your left thumb will really be working
