Comp Arf Yak 3.3m Set Up Recommendations
Alright Guys,
I posted about 2 months ago wanting suggestions on which plane to pick and I ended up choosing a Yak 3.3. I'm going to power her wit a ZDZ210 on cans and was wanting to know if anyone can shed some light on the airframe and motor. I'm gonna fly IMAC and 3D so I'm open to the best compromise suggestions and anything on the engine. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance |

I was going to recomend a BIG ASS MOTOR on CANS... You got it covered, Enjoy her she is one of my favorite airframes... Did you get one of the newer ZDZ 210's??? Keep an eye on engine temps...

I actually haven't ordered the engine yet, I have talked with RC Showcase and will order from them, I was unaware there was a "new 210" the one I'm looking at is a brand new ZDZ210B2. I hope thats the newest. Is there a trend of overheading with ZDZ's?? Also, do you have a recommendation on a break in prop. I'm really hoping this whole setup and break in will be painless, I've been in Iraq for almost 7 months and would like to jump back into flying with as few problems as possible. Thanks |
