Default PA Katana MD

Hi gang, well the Brown truck arrived, and dropped off a most gorgeous speciment!
Man the Katana MD, is simply Awesome, we've never experienced a model so well built, and designed. Our's arrived pristine, and well packed by the crew from Atlanta Hobby(http://www.atlantahobby.com/.) Cliff, and the gang also sent the accessories we ordered, Wing bags, and Mercury Adhesives Ca.Guys, if you haven't seen or ordered the Wing bags, they are so cute, and exactly what this hobby needs for our smaller electric ships, got to protect the investment fellas. Man; this is like an early Christmas. We can't wait to maiden her, looks to be a very quick assembly, as everything is a perfect fit. Stay tuned for the Flight reports, as we wring this baby out. It's going to be such a pleasure to be able to just pop her in the yukon, and off to the field, kind-of nice to leave the trailer and 42%' at home for some Care-free Hucking!
Precision Aerobatics , Shaun, and Adad, you folks have created a 3D "Throw it down Huckster" from the looks of this baby. We're totally impressed with the Fiber fusion Technology! Extremely light, and rock solid strong.. now we understand everyone's excitement. Guys if you're sitting on the fence, you will not be disappointed with this investment; man i can't believe we waited this long.

Hope yours is going well Hambone,

Mine had countless flights and i cherished every second of every one of them. A radio issue ended it's "career" but i have more on order.

Here is the last video i made of it:

They fly pretty nice. I've had mine for a while now. I found I had to have the CG fairly far back to get it to lock into a hover nice. They do the best inverted harriers.

I flew mine yesterday for the first time on the reccomended thrust 30 motor, PA 40 ESC, APC 13 x 6.5 prop and TP 2200mah extreme 3S LIPO battery. I love the way it flies but my flight times are only in the 5 min. range. Is this what you would expect? If not how can I squeeze a bit more time out of the combination?

Appreciate any comments.

Most people are getting 10 minutes out of that setup, I suppose if you hold throttle wide open from take off to lvc 5 minutes is normal. Of course i am not in the pits standing next to you so i don't know what's going on.

If you are one of those throttle happy people that spends the majority of the time circling the field at high speed then perhaps a 12x6 would give you an extra minute or two.

Otherwise perhaps your battery was partially discharged before take off?
