Adi,

Great pictures, especially the party pics

Seriously, though, let me know when you will be in the US. I enjoyed spending time with both you and Ido, and thanks again for all of your help throughout the week, it is greatly appreciated!

and great flying especially in light of all the obstacles!
I got some stick time on the Yak and it is a great flying model. From the limited time I had on the model, it flies constant speed extremely well, and is great for both precision and freestyle. Also to add, the Yak is based off of Gerhard Bruckman's (Gernot's father) Yak 55. Ivo Krill made changes to the model regarding wing platform, airfoil, etc. The model Mark flew was the first prototype. It features a "floating Spar" like the Katana, but is rather unique as it has a removable motor box.

Anyhow, the specs on the Yak are as follows:

Wing Span: 2.94 m
Fuselage Length: 2.74 m
Weight:36.8 lbs
Engine: DA 150 cc
Muffler System: KS Canisters

Let me know if you guys have any other questions regarding the Yak. Also to add, there will be one in Tucson for everyone to see.

Best Regards,
JPG

First of all I want to thank everybody who made this event possible!!!
But also the people who made this possible for me. You maybe know. But I fly only 1 season big scale right now. And I only reached this level after only 1 year because of support of friends and company's !!! I ended on place 15 and maybe I could end a little big higher, but I had some problems in the Semi finals. Also I did this event without any training :-) because of re- examinations at school and bad weather in Belgium, I also got no smoke or special effect on my plane. So you can understand I'm VERY happy with this result. I was also flying the only 1 cilinder Engine in contest!!!

Thx to www.aerobertics.be , www.emcotec.com , www.jerseymodeler.com ,....

there are many blue shirts... :-)

yes without training :-) everybody was saying I was going to be on place 25 day before contest :-)
It's a pitty that I didn't talked to you...

I trained 3 times for this event (3flight) and only the freestyle of the 1st round but that was not good so I switched for the 2nd round to my B freestyle I did that one NEVER before :-) but In 2nd round I was on place 12! Next time I will train until I'm dead :-)
