Chris,
Could you run 2 x 3s packs with the Torque motor on a 14x7 prop and still not fry the motor? I have a ESC capable of 6S and 2 x 3S packs already. I also have 2 3S chargers so i don't want to upgrade packs and chargers. Thanks

As I understand it the kit price of the model in the UK will be £159.95 unsure about combo price yet though.

Tom, it is $259.95.
Shaun, 6S is fine with the 4014T/570. Some really neat stuff is included with the 58" Extra including a really nice set of airfoiled carbon gear, carbon wing tube, helmet head pilot and very realistic dash/panel. Scale spinner and wing bag included as well. |

Mike Williams has just got one of these models and will be reeiving it in RCM&E, so may be worth a look when it comes out!

Tom - have you tried a bigger prop on a slightly lower kv motor as a comparison? Just wondering how it would feel on a 16x8 for example.
Seems like there is a lot of prop ripping in all the videos I have seen, especially in the hover. It's a non-issue with the huge power surplus but though I would ask.

Caught a few pics of Chris flying his at Nashville this past Saturday. The airplane is very nice construction, overall flying characteristics look impeccable.

How much does the glow version weigh with the Saito .82 ? I've got one sitting around.
I don't think Chris Hinson gets enough credit for his efforts in making his designs look "scale " . His designs look better than anything out there, while also being tweaked for optimum flight performance. Dorin Luck |
