Default Re: ExtremeFlightRC 58" Extra 300 hits England

I am considering either buying a sebart su29s 50E or this EF 300. Now I have a couple of questions before I decide.
I already have a turnigy 50-65 motor with an 80A ESC & S3152 servos (will these servos fit?)
I will be using my li-po's from my trex 600E, namely 6s 5000maH packs.
Would the above be ok in this 58" extra????

Regards
Ross

Yea, ive got some questions as well. I'm going to drop a saito 82 in mine, and i read that with the glow conversion its recommended to use 2 elevator servos. Is that what everyone is doing? Is it needed to balance it properly? I know it uses a standard servo for the rudder, and i plan on using a ds821. Is everyone having good luck with the 225mg's?

Thanks for your help,
Chris

My dad has been reasonably happy with his with a Saito 82. It's plenty of power with a 14x6. He has 225mgs all around. They center OK.

For servos, what I would do is use the second rear elevator servo as the rudder servo. It will have enough torque. You'll just have to make a longer pushrod than what comes in the kit. You can save the cost and weight of a servo by doing this.
