Are you using your own TX?Then you need to switch to PPM on you transmitter. If you are using a module type TX don't forget to remove the module. Also some Jets use Elevons not elevators so you need to go back into your settings and confirm you have them selected to the correct channels on your TX.

Toby,
Did you changed or revoved anything from the directory "...aircraft\airfoil? Cause that is were the control of your elevator ect. is stored. Removing files from that directory causes trouble. Your pc is allright and Aerofly should work great. Hope you will slove the problem.

Greetings,

Leen

If the cable went bad then contact Ikarus directly right there in FL. The contact info is in the back of your manual and they are the ONLY ones who can service a bad cable. No dealer can even touch the cables as they are proprietary and that's what copyright protects the software. The cables are guaranteed so should not even cost you anything except shipping. Call first though and maybe they can diagnose over the phone.

My cable has been going bad for quite some time, I have to hold it over to the side to make it work...I'll need to send mine in. Thanks.

Last year I sent my cable back as it was legitimately bricked, it just got warm and didn't work at all. They replaced it for free despite the fact that it was way out of warranty.

You know that over in RC Universe they have a dedicated AFPD support site. Just go to the aircraft site > Flight Sims> AFPD Support. The gent answering the questions on that site is very good on getting the problems worked out if you have any.
Second thought I should check this site for the same.I'm new to FG.
