Here is a few shots of the interior. I have a AW .90-1.20 Yak that I ripped the landing gear off of. My fault with a dead stick. I wasn't very pleased with the wood used or the manner in which the gear was attached. I have since seen others complain about the AW landing gear attachment.
I also have a friend that just got the new Extreme Flight 88" Yak. His landing gear attachment is great. It has aluminum angles. This new AW looks to have changed their mounting method. I took a picture to try and show the aluminum angles at the attachment. I am very happy they have improved this point. It is amazing how similar this plane is to the little Yak I have. It is going together very quickly. More pictures to follow. Mark |

Mark, could you please post a couple pics of the Aeroworks Extra next to your Yak 54 1.20 QB so I can get an idea of how big this thing really is. I have the Aeroworks yak 54 1.20 QB
and a H9 Cap 232g 50cc and I really want to step up to a 33%. BTW, great to see a build thread on this plane, it looks sweeeeet!!!THANKS, Ryan |

On the Kavan wheels.
I believe that the TBM web site says that the plastic hub and the chrome hub weigh the same and that these are very lite. I will get some pictures of it on the grass Sunday and I'll take some beside my little Yak. May even get some beside my friends EF 88" Yak. Well assembly is going well. I have the servos in the elevators, rudder hinged, pull-pull in and cables run. Next I will mount the engine before mounting stabs or tail wheel. I like to be able to roll it around on the table while putting in the engine. Three hours in so far and that includes unboxing. |

Ward,
I am going to use a wrap around Pitts for now as I am in a hurry. I will later change to a can or pipe. I may need the extra power of a pipe as I am only using a 3W70. With all of the sound restrictions I will definitely use one or the other. I haven't measured the tunnel yet so I don't know if a pipe will even fit. You might want to check out the http://www.aero-works.net/store/detail.aspx?ID=298 web site as they have some very good pictures of the tunnel. I get you some later. Mark |

Thanks Mark,
The AW web-site shows a rear exit Canister, wonder if a front exit would work also? Can Aeroworks post if front exit is OK? Keep up the good work Mark. Ward |

Good to see that you like the kit. Mine is on its way should be here anytime. Curious about your set up to see if I am on the right track as of electronics. Any problems I should look out for?
