Ok I will translate Australian into English for you guys!

rcdart wants to know where is the best spot to stay for a couple of Australian FG members during the Tuscon Shootout. There will need to be plenty of beer on tap and pubs that allow the wearnig of thong. (Special note, thongs in Australia are things you wear on you feet, Frazer Briggs call his jandles, we call em thongs.)

Red Roof inn on Ina Road in Tucson. Guaranteed there will be other FG freaks staying there to party with after hours, and there is a flying site just 2 minutes down the road if you were to bring a plane...

Dart -- Stay at the Red Roof Inn, if you like, I can assist you in setting up reservations, or anything else you need. You should be able to find the contact info for Red roof on DA's homepage. Bob, myself, and all the other wackos stay there, so it's always an experience. Hooters right up the street as well. One thing,,, keep this boderwerks guy away from your rental car, he's a thrasher.

Let me know if you're coming for sure, we'll roll out the red carpet.

Hey Dart, just fyi, if you're going to come all the way to the states just to go to Tucson, plan on doing something else while you're here. More than 3 days straight at the field will drive you stir crazy if you're not flying. I live in South Orange County minutes away from the beach, Disneyland, etc. Mi casa es su casa if you want to pop in for a few days, I'll set you up. Bunch of stuff to do down here and Tucson is an hour flight away.

If your a lookin for a pub, you gotta check out Thunder Canyon Brewery. It's located in the Foothills mall at Ina and La Colla. They've got several heavenly brews to choose from... and the food is good too! http://www.thundercanyonbrewery.com/

I plan on getting there tuesday afternoon/evening and will be at the Red Roof up until the weekend. Then my Dad should be driving in from Cali with the 5th wheel and we will stay out at the field.
