Hey Guys,
I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Yak! I'm setting her up with a ZDZ 210, JR Guidance(8611a's) Smart Fly etc etc. I have two pressing questions. 1. Can someone tell me what length standoffs I need? (Or at least what the distance is from the firewall to the cowl and I can do the math from the engine drawings.) 2. What is the most used wing location for the plane? I hear you really can't switch, they say you have to pick one and set the plane up around it???? Thanks Beforehand!! Jamie Tucker |

I have seen this illusive switch performed, and it can be done. I believe the guys name was Johnathan Baker, has the same setup you are intending on, I don't know if he is on the giants or not. He flew the plane after switching wing location, and it wasn't so major of a cg shift that it couldnt be handled. I believe he liked it better in the new location, not sure wich way he switched. But either way it lets you know that switching locations is not a major thing.
