I'm really pumped about getting my 9303 but checked on Horizon site and they don't even have an idea of how soon they'll be in...o well i'm willing to wait.
Quick question about the data logger. I was think on getting one but wasn't sure how it works...it is compatible with the JR 2.4ghz recevier that is included with the radio right? So does it just plug into the reciever? |

It is only compatible with the AR9000 and R921 at the moment, I believe. Don't even think about getting one, just get it. As far as I am concerned, it is an absolutely essential tool for monitoring, evaluating your setup.
I just ran an extension off the data port and I plug the logger in after each session right before I turn the system off. The receiver stores the info throughout the flight, so the logger doesn't always need to be plugged in. |

Sorry about post this question since some body might have already asked this but let me do this. Does 9303-2.4G use pure digital stream from its encoder circuit? Or use PPM stream just like DM9+Transmitter's combination?
I'm curious because this affects the latency!

I've been nothing but pleased with my 2.4 9303.
Works great in stuff big and little. The satellite RX's are cheap, AND come with a 24" extension. Worth it. Josh |

Not to jack up this thread, but I just had a quick question. I was looking at getting the JR Deluxe Trans. Case to protect this beautiful radio, so I was wondering what you all are using and if this thing is customizible to fit that 2.4 antenna?
Thanks |

6 flights in my T-rex 600 so far, and 30+ in the 450. The most frames I saw lost was 11. No, fades, no holds. I'm flyng in an area NOTORIOUS for radio problems. Littered with cell towers, in a valley where the mountain is topped with high power radio towers.
Flawless. |

What about using a regular radio case (the kind where the little cubes of foam can be removed to make the proper shape) and just put it in sideways?

Can anyone get me the dimensions of the X9303 with the 2.4GHz antenna extended? I just wanted to kinda get an idea of the size so I can see if theres a radio case that might fit this radio?
Thanks |
