Haven't seen this in a while!
Well, we haven't seen this at Tri-County Barnstormers in a while! These three "kids" used to fly together a few years back. John Wondra lived right next door to Barnstormers and has since moved to Washington State. Brett Wickizer is a Senior at College Park High in The Woodlands and a two-time National Pattern champ. (Placed 6th in the big dance at Muncie last month!) Kyle Foote is a Senior at Conroe High School and is planning on studying aerospace engineering next year. All three of these guys used to be little kids pestering their Dads for more glow fuel so they could go bore some holes in the sky.
John came into town for a visit and all three got together for a little flying reunion this past weekend. All us members got to see all of them put on quite a show on Sunday. Their skills showed all the rest of us just how old and rusty WE are! (All three are Flying Giant members.) WT

Unfortunately, no........ I had the digital camera in the car for a still pic that you see attached but didn't have the video camera with me. Brett was doing a run-thru pattern with his electric powered Berryl. John took a turn at it and looked real good. Kyle was 3D-ing the H-9 CAP down real low so we could read the Flying Giants graphics. Needless to say, none of us lesser-than pilots got up to fly. (Didn't want to look bad compared to them!)  WT |

Wish we could have gotten more flying than we did.
I think the background in the pic tells that story... Had a great time though, it's been a long time since I've flown with either John or Kyle.
