Where did you buy it?

Desert Aircraft is the USA largest supplier of Mejzlik props. But I bought mine thru a local hobby shop who bought it from DA.

Yep I think I'll get a set of eagle wing bags as well. I was hoping for wing-tote to make a set, but it doesn't look like thats going to happen any time soon.

I just received this plane on Friday from qqaircraft. I bought the ligher DA100 and MTW canisters with it. I got the Kimball scheme and so far think it looks like a great plane. i'm waiting on more hinge glue (got 3 of 4 ailerons glued) from the lhs to be picked up on Wednesday. I plan on putting in an AR9100 receiver with 2 2700mah nimh 6 volt batteries on the receiver. I am also goint to put in a 2700mah nimh 6 volt battery on the ignition. I'll be using the smart-fly ignition kill swith, as I do on all my planes. Also I will be trying to get the JR 8711 servos all around. I may go with a smaller servo such as the Hitec 7955 or 5955 and then 8711 on the rudder. It depends on what kind of price I can get on them. Does anyone know what they will sell for at the Perry swap meet?

Does anyone make a carbon fiber spinner that would work good on this plane? I think I may try to get the Metzlik 26x12 prop for this as many have been recommending it.

This is my first 100cc plane. I currently fly a Hangar-9 Carden Edition Yak with DA50 and MTW 75k Canisters. Also an Aeroworks Extra 260 with DA50 and Jtec large pitts muffler. Both fly great, so I hope this is plane is a blast.

Does anyone see any problems with my setup from above?????

Also, if I want to eventually add smoke to this plane, can the header pipes going to the MTW canisters easily be tapped with a smoke fitting????

One note I might make......I would have thought with this size plane that the rudder would have been already installed and the horizontal stabilizer would have been removable.

Thanks
Terry

I'm using this set-upon my QQ Python DA-100 Standard Mufflers, (2) A123 Batteries 6.6 Volt with 2300Mah, with no regulators and the Spectrum 9100 RX, and one A123 6.6 2300 Mah on the Ignition without regulator, keep it simple and light. Troybuilt models sells the Petes carbon fiber spinner and there own brand of Carbon fiber spinners. I'm using the Petes spinner cause it's the lightest and the Mejzlik 26 X 12 2-Blade on my QQ Python which is a really good combo. Hope this helps.
