I am somehow disappointed in EF Yak, that's why I'm looking for alternatives. I think I will go ahead and buy a DLE for python, and just fly it until the engine will fall apart

How is python on snaps? I have seen videos of bottom wings being ripped off, does it mean, that It doesn't hold negative g's good enough?
I am quite aggressive on airframes, so does it need some beefing up in lower wing tube area?

My buddy Conrad shot some footage of my python today. This is one great flying plane for sure. This is after about 12 flights on the plane since the maiden flight. It is scary how comfortable this plane is, but might as well rock it out if it feels good.

Looks good Russ! Can't wait till we get them together in Tyler. But i don't think mine will take off that fast. Have old style DA-100.

Anyone have any Midnight Blue or/and Dark Yellow Ultracote spray paint? Or maybe know of any alternative of spray can/paint that would match these colors on the Kimball scheme? Trying to paint up a spinner and found out today that the ultracoat spray paint has been discontinued for about 1yr. I guess I was under a rock, or have never needed ultracoat paint.

Let me know, I would be glad to purchase any available spray can of paint.

Look at the monokote paint, cub yellow and insignia blue. I bet they are pretty darn close.

Well, you are fooked then. J/K. You may have to get some automotive paint place to mix you some up in an aerosol.

Hello all,
Has anyone done any extensive baffling to the cowl on the Python? I know the cowl is a good start and I have lots of exit room in the lower portion but want to make it the best possible. Running an origional DA100 on cannisters...
THanks,
D

I built two 'boxes' flowing air directly onto the cylinder heads that are attached to the lower cowling. So, I can take the top part off and the baffling will remain attached and in place. I can take a few pictures when I get home if that would help better.
