After waiting all summer for mine I finally got it!
This radio rocks! I don't know what more you would need. Unless you fly scale with trap doors and bomb drops 9 channels seem to plenty! You can make the springs real stiff! Add JR's Red sticks for some mechanical expo and you have one sweet set up! I even use it wirelessly with my FS One simualtor! Happy Flying everyone! Magoo |

We've officially got another batch of them IN STOCK!! It's the Tx and Rx only versions.
KJT08: Just because it's not in the UK doesn't mean you can't order it! We've actually already received one in Mode 1 for a local customer. It's definitely a work of art! I know my dad, brother, and I are all definitely gonna be getting one. Even though we're Futaba guys...this may be the beginning of the transition, lol. We have "felt the difference".

I Just received my new X9303 2.4 Heli radio and I Love it. I do have a question concerning the DSC port on the back. Does this work the same on this new radio as it did on an FM 9303? It did not come with a DSC cord that plugs into the charge plug to control the servios with out the radio being on, like my old JR Century 7 Single stick did. Is this an optional cable or is this just for training and file transfer. Also there is a small plastic gadget that you push on the sides and it seperates. It came in the package with the binding plugs. What is this used for? None of this information is in the Manual. By the way the New radio comes with a manual which covers Airplane, Sailpalne and Heli.

Since you appear to be new to these forums, this isn't the best place to ask questions.
You'd be better off going to the 2.4 forums... But I'll tell you that the X9303 doesn't have a DSC function, no need for it anymore so it's not there. That is in the BACK of the transmitter, do not connect anything but the charger into the battery charge port. The port in the back of the tx can be used for a trainer cord. The little black plastic gadget is just something you can put on the tx neckstrap and it will hold the bind plugs if that's what you want to do. I just carry my bind plugs in my field box. I hope that will get you started. Welcome to FG! |

Thanks ZEEB I apreciate your answering my qiestions. I plan on getting into Giant Scale in the future. I am just getting back into flying. I have had my Schluter HeliStar since 1984. My Century 7 single stick took a dump and parts are not available any more. Its hard for me to go to Double sticks after flying single for so long. I Purchased the JR X9303 2.4GHZ dsm so i can have a radio that will allow me to go giant scale in the future. I realy dont want to crash my helistar so soon after i have restored it. Parts are few and far between for this also. I am going to get an electric heli to start back flying. I also got the G4 flight sim and this has helped a lot.

Can someone clarify the 2048 bit for me? I cant find anywhere on the JR or Horizon website that advertises 2048. All mentions of such have been in forums and 3rd party ads. i'm probably missing something obvious. I would think they would be writing 2048 in bold all over everywhere as a marketing strategy but it isn't.
Thanks |

![]() IIRC, it's in the manual for the X9303 which you can download or if Danny Snyder's word over on RCU is good enough for you; http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=6916295 |

I trust them. Hey I just BOUGHT one after using futaba for 10 years. It seems odd that they wouldn't plaster 2048 on all the "syetem highlight" sections on horizon or the JR website.
I found this on H9 http://www.hangar-9.com/Articles/Art...ArticleID=1762. It is just strange that it is written everywhere except the two places you'd expect. Last edited by Edge 540; 03-14-2008 at 01:50 PM. |

Well I came over to the "Dark side" from Futaba as well. Started with a DX7 and my glow models then converted the gassers when my X9303 showed up and haven't looked back at either Futaba or 72MHz. The last of my 72MHz stuff went bye-bye some months back and I'm waiting for my 12X to show up now...
