When you go to www.bandegraphix.com you now have the choice of designing your own graphics, and modify existing graphic designs. Eric has brought a first to this hobby as far as getting what you want and when you want(I placed my special order and had it in 4 days). When I applied the decal as shown all I used was a towel and Meguiars Quick Detail to help position the graphic. Not one bubble or loose corner. Wait till you see what the rest of the package will look like on this 260.
Thanks, Perry |

My goal with this plane is to really keep the weight down. I am probably going a little extreme by using titanium for every bolt or screw that I can use in titanium. I also have decided to use a set of CF wheel pants from Precision Aerobatics.

PTS, I have the same plane engine combo with similar set up. When you get ready to do the engine mounting, hope you can share some pics. Using the provided DA 85 mounting template, the 2 lower mounting bolt holes exited halfway in the tri stock bracing. In order to have a flush mount surface for the bolts I'll have to build up the back of the firewall with additional ply. I would like to know if others have same mounting problem? However, overall I'm very impressed with this plane. If I could just get my hands on a new JR 9303 I could be flying this coming weekend. Thanks - Jaketab

PTS,
Do you have a weight on the AW CF tubes or did Rocco tell you the difference compared to the stock aluminum? I have weighed the stock tube @ 10.1 oz. but haven't weighed the stab tubes yet. I also would be interested in your final AW weight as mine came in at 23#. Also interested in the weight of the CF tail wheel assy from AW. Thanks, Mark |

Mark - AW called me and said the CF wing tube is on backorder. I will weigh the tailwheel and get back to you. I will also continue to search for a CF Wing tube.
Jake - That is interesting! I will let you know what I run into. Perry |

I mounted a DA85 on this extra using the supplied block and had the same issue with the bottom mounting bolts coming through the tri-stock about 1/3 the thickness. I just cut a relief to mount a smaller fender washer than I wanted to use which still left most of the lower tri-stock to support the firewall s/b fine but Aeroworks doesn't address it directly. What I'm most interested in at this point is how you intend to set-up the choke and throttle linkage. altho may find a way to control the choke from outside the cowl The Aeroworks CD shows both linkage set-ups but for a 3W-80 which don't help me Thank you Dave P |
