Default Help to decide on a 35% plane for 3D& imac.

Which 35%er? I will put in a DA 100 in it for sure. I want it to be a good 3D plane for freestyle and imac competitions. I would take the Aviation models extra 260 when it comes out, but i want to see your opinions. I also think that there are too many yak 54's out so i wouldn't really want that even though its on my list. I already have a 30% yak anyways so i dont think i need another one.

I had the smaller 72" QQ yak and it was a bad ass plane! I bet the bigger one will be even better, I don't know much about the other ones though.

Good luck with your decision.

How about the Aeroworks 35% Extra 260. I think it looks like an excellent kit... prehinged etc with a lot of good hardware.

Composite ARF 2.6 Extra or Yak. I have the Yak, it flies IMAC fantastic, does hovers and torque rolls just fine, I havent yet got the harriers down pat yet.

People that have both say that the Extra is a little better for 3ding than the Yak.

Another vote for the JTec Panzl, or the 2.6m comp arf extra. If i was a building guy, the 35% Dalton would be at the top of list as well. QQ Yak is a stellar performer, but I believe you said you werent interested in another yak.

If you are looking for a long-lasting, relatively mx-free beautiful and clean setup and are near sealevel, go with the AWX 260. If you want sheer performance, and can handle a little weekly Mx, the QQ Yak is very hard to beat!
