I really like the AW, I'm just trying to justify the price difference, or find someone who can say that the SD flies as well.
I had the AW yak too and now Ive flown and I own 3 extra 260s. Now maybe Im doing somthing wrong But out of the three I own and other two I flew that they all pushed to the belly. My choice now is the SD 260 35% with a ZDZ super 80 24# No wing rock and will float so well that all of my landings are in harrier form.It two pushes two the belly a little. So My next plane will be a 40% yak.

Does the super 80 have enough to really fly it hard?

Thanks for the input so far. Has anyone out there flown the SD 33% ? It has been out awhile. Surely someone has 3D'd this thing and can let me know if it will hang with the AW.

I have seen it fly. The guys at DA used it as a test bed for their 85. It flies/3D's quite well and flies plenty light.

Man, I really thought that two great planes like this would generate a lot more discussion than this one has.

SNAP you just need to add some uptrust to your extra , 2 or 3 deg, ours did the same thing but we added uptrust and now its fine.

Get the AW 260. It looks better, uses one servo and I am sure will fly as well as my 35%. Mine is super stable and I am sure the 75cc version will have an even better power to weight ratio.

The AW also has almost zero roll coupling which improves maneouvers all round. Go for the AW.

Even if you get the SD you have to upgrade from the 5645 hitecs. They have huge slop and are slow. I also used to run these servos in 27% plane and didn;t know why guys didn't like them, but after running the 5955 you can't compare. The 5955 are insanely fast, with no slop. Makes a huge difference when flying. Like everyone else said the 75cc 260 will only need one per aileron. I actually use only one per aileron (inboard) in my AW 35% <==. Rocco said the ailerons were stiff enough and he is right!

At the end of the day either plane will fly well.

Thanks guys. All of the input definately has me leaning towards the Aeroworks. I'm gonna use a DA 85, so I don't think the extra weight will be an issue.

Well you asked who has had experience with both of the planes. The 75cc AW was recently released so therefore there aren't that many of them out there. Then for someone to have both of the planes would be even less of a chance.

I don't have first hand experience with either of them, but from looking at them I really like the single servo on the ailerons of the AeroWorks. The servos are powerful enough, now the aileron is strong enough too.

The AW looks nicer ( IMHO )... but I have noticed the AW is a little bit of a tippy rock... every once in a while, when my friend flies it, I will see a wing drop unexpectedly... and the SD's don't exhibit the same characteristic... ( From what I have Seen )
