i am trying to research how to build a runway for remote airplanes. Someone mentioned to me that it should follow a Level 1 criteria. Any idea what that means?

fuzzula - I'm sorry but I can't help you on this one. I'm not sure what they are referring to when they are talking about a Level 1 criteria. You might contact AMA and ask if this is something they know about.
Good luck in building you runway, and when you do, let me know where it's at and I'll plug it in with the rest of the fields I've got located if you want.

Well folks for what ever reason I presently can't create and upload a zipped file that will work. I guess once Max gets back from the 'Nall' (Lucky Stiffs !!) I'll see if we can figure it out. Sorry, GPutt33

Well guys I'm not sure what's going on. I have tried several different things to get the Zip file to download without the error but it's not working. I've PM'd SleepyC about the problem but haven't heard back from him yet.
I know the file works because you download the same file on my little MSN RC Plane Site. If you want to get the file before the guys fix the glitch here you can go to: http://groups.msn.com/PuttsRCHomePage Go to documents and look for the folder containing the coordinates file. Sorry for the inconvience GPutt33

Sorry Gregg, been a busy week.
I'm not sure what the problem with the file is. I've PM'ed you, to see if we can resolve this.

Hi Ya Snow Dog - we aren't sure what's wrong with the program right now. If you follow the link in my post 2 above you download the ZIP file from my little MSN site. SleepyC has been working to figure this problem out. When I first had it loaded on FG as a ZIP file it worked fine for downloading, but all of a sudden it's doing something really wierd after I upload it. I know it's now the file because it's the sameone I'm uploading to my MSN site. Keeping my fingers crossed. If you just want me to send it via regular email drop me a note at GPutt33@msn.com and put something in the subject line that will let me know your wanting the RC Field File.

Well, I have uploaded the latest ZIP file of my Excel RC Field Coordinates but for some reason when I click on it, it still won't open and gives me an error. Don't know if everyone else is still getting the same error or not. Maybe not that the flying season is slowing down SleepyC can take another look at the problem. You can still go up to POST #21 and use the link to my little home page to download the new file from there if you want.
Hope you all continue to enjoy the Excel file as well as the Google Earth file. Let me know if you aren't on the map and I'll make sure I get you included. Thanks GPutt33

I keep posting the new ZIP file hoping one of these days it will actually open (at least it doesn't for me). Just in case it does for others I will keep updating it.
If you want the Excel File you can download it from my new RC web page here: http://gputt33.multiply.com/ Thanks and I hope you all continue to enjoy it that are using it. Happy New Years Giants

Well is looks like SleepyC and the guys got the bug fixed that was preventing the zipped Excel file from sending out an error. I just uploaded the latest/updated RC Coordinate file for you guys to use if you'd like.
Hope you continue to enjoy it and use it. Please remember that if you find a Field that I don't have shoot me a note or PM with either coordinates, directions, or drawn on the back of a napkin and I'll add it the list.

rvrcflyers - Thanks for the update for the Clubs new website address. I have it changed in my Excel file as well as uploaded it to the Dist-8 Club Look Up page as well. I'll post the new Excel file for download probably this weekend. If anyone else is interested in downloading it see the link to my little RC Homepage above in post 26.
Thanks GPutt33
