Bigtex - I kind of gave up trying to keep an updated copy of the Excel file on here. At first it just didn't want to work and then there was the hastle of use WinZip to make it small enough and a file extension that was allowed.
I now keep an up to date file on my little RC website hosted by Mulitply. I don't know if there is a hassle trying to get to it there but I haven't heard of any complaints so far. If you'd like to try it here is the link - http://gputt33.multiply.com/ _Putt's RC Homepage. Enjoy some of the pictures while your there if you try it. If you would let me know if it was easy to get to or not. Have a GREAT 4th of July and remember our Troops

Is this still being updated. It sounds pretty awesome. If it can be mainstream it could really help small clubs be noticed by locals who might not be aware of it!

Hi 5050 - Yep, I'm still keeping this updated and adding fields almost monthly to it. I'm not even sure how many Clubs I have located in it any more, I quit counting when it went over 2500. Here are two links if your interested. The first link is to the Google Earth file I've got going (it's actually a part of the Google Earth download now). The second link is to my RC Home Page, and when you go to it, click on the one just below the picture album. This is where I have the full blown Excel spread sheet that has the majority of the info in it (Club coordinates, name, state, Club web link if they have one, weather link, number of runways with surface type, etc etc).
Let me know what you think, and if you have any Clubs out there that you don't see on my list, let me know and I'll get them added. http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/ubbthread...te_id=1#import http://gputt33.multiply.com/

Hello 5050 - Thanks for the info, BUT, I'll be darned if I can find the field. I'm afraid exit 96 on Hwy 18 doesn't do me much good in Google Earth. I went onto the AMA site and found the club, but as usual, the coordinates given there are screwed up. If you could give me anything like Hwy 18 and the name for a cross road and something like East or West from there I can usually do it. I found one aerial image on their website, but I can't find anything that looks exactly like that by flying up and down 18 using GE. Any help would be appreciated.
