HUCKTOBERFEST 2007

On October 26-28 2007, Extreme Flight R/C in cooperation with the Flying Giants website will host The Hotlanta Hucktoberfest 3D Fly-in. The event will take place at the Georgia Model Aviator’s field in Ballground, GA approximately 35 miles north of downtown Atlanta. This event will consist of 3 days devoted to 3D flying, fellowship and camaraderie. Top 3D pilots from all over the U.S. have committed to attending and we hope you will consider joining us for what promises to be a world class event.
The GMA field will close to general flying on Friday October 26th at noon and the event will last until 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Come on out and see the latest in high performance aerobatic aircraft technology, check out the set-ups on these aircraft, talk with some of the top pilots in the nation, and fly, fly, fly!!!
Pilot registration will begin at noon on Friday. Registration fee is $25.00 which will include a BBQ dinner on Saturday evening. Proof of AMA membership required. Thousands of dollars in merchandise will be raffled off over the course of the event.

The GMA field is located at 8250 Old Federal Rd in Ballground, GA 30107. If driving into the Atlanta area from US HWY 85 or 75, take the 285 bypass and exit on GA 400 north toward Cumming, GA. Take a left on 369 (the first traffic light you will encounter on GA 400) and travel approximately 8.5 miles. Make a right onto Old Federal Rd and you will see the flying field on your right in approximately ¾ of a mile.

Below is a list of area hotels. These hotels are approximately 12 miles from the GMA field. Camping is allowed on-site, but no hook-ups are available.

just a couple of quick questions 1 what is admission price for spectators? and 2 do the spectators have to have an ama card to be able to mingle with the pilots and stuff like that? and 3 is there gonna be like a swap meet there as well?

There is no admission price for spectators, but we will be collecting donations for the club. AMA membership is required to fly, but not to attend. We are not having a swap meet.

hey chris this is alan from rdrc fly for tots. did you say swap meet! is that going to be from the surrounding clubs and people who show or is that going to be some of the new stuff! what i am asking is what do you think will be available!
