Hi Zhivko, I am still interested in your business ;-)
I have got now 3 years of experience in charging a123's; the fastest charger I use is a MasTech HY5020E charging my 12s2p packs at 20A, 43.2V in less than 15 min, IF I don't have to balance.
But installation is heavy with 4 lead batteries an a 1200W converter to get 220V.
Most of my friends are reluctant to go with all that stuff.
What's the development status of your charger ?

Hi ramboman,
Thanks for the interest,
but I am afraid I didn't catch what do you ment by development. After some modifications - look to the previous posts, we have not do anything more... if you ask me if we will make our chargers for 220 V power supply - no way that isn't the idea. Our charger is a field charger using 12V as a source. Please be more specific what do you mean...

Regards

Hi Zhivko,
I found recently 6s1p LiFe packs for 73€ with balancing tabs. That's the standard I use for my planes too.
One of my planes use 4 such packs connected as 12s2p.
My concern is to charge such a battery from 12V with balancing, in 15min...

Hi again,
So charging 6s1p in 15 min. is no problem as well as balancing... actually with 4Subpack Charger you can do that with two of your packs simultaneously. So in 30 min with 1 charger from 12 Volts you will charge 4 of your battery packs - you can get 2 chargers, if you want.
Here we have some issue, regarding the type of balancing connectors and maybe with the balancing scheme (circuit) the battery packs, but i think it is minor problem.
I hope my explanation was clear enough.
