Yeah, Midwest stop selling the builtup tail kits at the beginning of 2007... Shame, since I wreck the the horizontal stab on my Cap in august..

If you build it light, it will hang with the best of them. I had a Brison 2.4, full weight 14lbs and it flew great.

Oh if you are building strickly for 3D extend the ailerons one or more bays inboard to improve there authority in the hover.

Oh and if its solid drill a hole it! ;-)

Just an FYI these kits are available again till supply runs out. I got one 3 weeks ago with free shipping it was $202 total. I think they are doing the free shipping again.
