Default problems with gv-1

i bought this brand new and installed it on my t rex 600n. it has been working fine until today.
the problem is that it seems to keep reverting back to normal mode until i bog the head or actually go to do something like a tic toc. that is when it goes from idle 2 to normal mode however if i fly around a little longer calmly it will aventually go back to idle 2 but does not stay very long. like i said as soon as you put some load on the engine it drops back out. i have never used a gv-1 before however i thought it was pretty easy to set up and had a flyer at my field check it out who used to be on team futaba so i am sure he knows. anyways he has gone on vacation and i cannot find out what he thinks and i don't know where to start.

thank you
aaron

do you have curves for idle ups that do not go below approx 30% throttle? if your lowest throttle setting is low the gv-1 will drop out for a moment.

Check the magnet sensor percentage and make sure that it is over say at least 70%. Sounds like the governor cant get a reading off of the magnet. Also make sure to check your back up throttle curves! They need to be above 30%. Hope this helps!

OK I CHEKCED THE SENSOR LIKE YOU GUYS SAID AND IT WAS ONLY ABOUT 74% SO I MOVED THE SENSOR AROUND AND GOT IT UP TO 97% NOW. THAT SEEMED TO HELP IT DOES NOT DIE OFF AS QUICKLY HOWEVER IT STILL DOES IT. IF I DON'T BOGG THE HEAD TO BAD IT STAYS LOCKED ON HOWEVER IF I REALLY START PUT A LOAD ON IT DOES LIKE BEFORE AND GOES BACK TO WHAT SEEMS TO BE NORMAL MODE. HOWEVER I HAVE NOW FIGURED OUT IF I PUT ABOUT 6 DEGREES OF NEGATIVE PITCH IN FOR ABOUT 1-3 SECONDS AND THEN GOT BACK TO FLYING THE GOVENOR KICKS RIGHT BACK IN. ANYHELP NOW WOULD BE GREAT. ALSO I DID CHECK AND IT IS READING THE RPM AND I RECHECKED THE SENSOR AFTER THE FLIGHT AND STILL READING 97%.

What is your setup like as far as head speed, max pitch and cyclic pitch?

On the bench go to the SWCd screen, move the throttle stick up and down slowly and watch the screen to see if you are turning the gov off anywhere in the stick travel. This is the screen that tells you whether the gov is being commanded on or off.
