Default Fliton FG-AJ Extra330S Is Here!!

Heya Crew! Big announcement from Fliton! It's here!!

--------------------------------------------------------

Flying Giants Andrew Jesky Extra 330S ARF (Limited Edition)
Fliton Manufacturing and Distributing
4790 Irvine Blvd. Ste 105-299
Irvine, CA 92620
Phone: 888-473-0856
Web Site: www.FlitonStore.com

The Flying Giants AJ Extra is a limited edition product with only a select quantity in existence. Each one is uniquely numbered inside the hatch for individual authentication. With the HUGE success of the original Andrew Jesky Extra 330s, this upgraded and newly covered Flying Giants version is guaranteed to offer even greater performance, more fun and higher quality.

When Fliton sat down with the 2005 XFC champion Andrew Jesky, he was adamant about making the absolute best large scale parkflyer available in todays market. After many design changes and 3 prototypes later, Fliton would proudly unveil the Andrew Jesky Extra 330S... the ultimate in professional grade.

The overall build is very straightforward and can be assembled in as little as a few hours. An interlocking joint structure and special covering also makes for a very strong construction. Expect your Andrew Jesky Extra to execute 40% size performance without the added expense of larger kits. It can easily perform stable harriers, hands-off knife edges, straight axial rolls, torque rolls and any other 3D or precision aerobatic maneuver you can throw at it. The plane presents itself much larger than it really is and has great wind resistence.

Tested, approved, co-designed by Andrew Jesky and backed by Fliton's commitment to high quality, the Flying Giants AJ Extra 330S is a must have!

To be honest, I'm not sure what it is. Nothing in the box seemed like a surprise to me. I think we already knew about the hatch and wing attachment mods. There was a 10% off coupon that expires 10/31 but that seemed like something that might come with any plane purchase.

It's an interesting design. The wing root has a horizontal "hook style" tab that goes into the fuselage. When inserted there is a verticle piece of carbon fiber rod glued to the inside of the fuselage that springs away on insertion then springs back into the hook of the tab. Looks like a pretty positive locking method. Will know more when I cut the covering away and can actually fit the wing in place.

hmmm. That sounds interesting. A lot better than the rubber band method on the earlier version i guess. I built one of the original AJ's for a friend of mine and he didnt like the idea of rubber bands holding his wing on so i just slapped epoxy on the wing tube and root and permanently attached them, (i cut the covering off the fuse first of course ) but the plane magically got a lot bigger and we had trouble getting it in his van, lol.
