Default Krill 50cc Katana S

I have been flying my new "KRILL" 50cc Size Katana

I am really impressed big time with this plane, My Friend was flying the prototype of this airplane and I remember him making a statement that this plane flys as good as a 100cc size plane.. Well I can tell you after a few flights. This 87" Krill Katana not just flys as good as my 100cc Aeroworks 260.. IT FLYS BETTER and my motor isnt even broke in on this plane. It just flys so smooth it reminds me of flying my old pattern planes.. I love how it flys so well already I have a 100cc Krill Katana to put together this winter.

Here is the equimpment I used in it and some outer pics..yea forgot about inside pics

Motor DA 50
Flex Header
Mtw 75 Can
Radio Airtronics Stylus
Servos Airtronics 358 all away around except throttle "731"
24oz bottle fuel tank from Aircraft Int.
No Limitz Pilot
No Limitz 3 1/2 Ultimate Spinner
H9 ti rods
Dubro Ball Links

Here also the Information how to purchase a Krill in North American.. Philip a great guy to talk to

Joe just wondering.. Do you have your cg dead on where Ivo says to put it on your 40%?

I do on this smaller one and I can't beleave how dead nts on it is for both styles of flying. really surprised how little rudder it needs also

hi there,

to be honest...i dont know..LOL I think its right on the spar...I fly the plane to fly with very little push on the elevator when inverted...I adjust from there to get it to my liking....I also put it on the 45 upline and do a half roll....I dont want the plane to fall quickly but rather gradually...its all personal taste...

But yes...I do believe the CG they recomend is right on...

How is the performance with the DA50? And the overall weight?
Does it need a pipe or is the canister enough?

Hi Guys,
I just got mine today. Its a great looking airplane. I think it leaves a Comp ARF 2.12 far behind in quality and style. Super super. I have few question:

1. What length Titanium Rods have you guys used.

2. How to find the location for the Control horns.

Hope to hear from you guys soon.
