Default Another Outlaw

I'm not going to do a huge thread on this build because Ryan has already done an excellent thread on it here:
http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/f...ld-thread.html

I will, however, post pics of where I'm up to and how it looks when its done.

Here are the parts cut out and vertical stabs assembled.

They don't have any setup instructions exactly. From what I remember they say to use 1/2" low rate 1" high rate with about 80% expo to start with. Also there is no bill of materials, you have to figure out what wood you need from the plans.

Spars and stringers are in place. Flipped it over and installed the lower leading and trailing edge sheeting, I just have a few cap strips to put along the bottom of the ribs and then I can flip it back over.

Where did you get your plans? I've got an Outlaw, but it's getting a little long in the tooth, so a replacement might not be too far away.

For those of you who do not wont to build the outlaw. Chris at extreme flight is working on the arf version. I do not know when it will be out, but have been pushing the issue really hard to get the thing built.

I was trying to figure out the best way to ensure a perfectly vertical stab, because there is nowhere for you to get a good reading on the angle. So this is what I came up with. I made a jig that I could pin to the stab and to the building board, that would hold it while I glued it. The secret is to make the jig straight with perfect 90 degree angles.
