An ARF version??? This thing has like 10 pieces!!!!

If someone has access to a scroll saw (to cut the ply pcs) you can probibly produce a "kit" in an hour or less.

Chris is a slow and meticulas builder and I think he's only got a couple of hours in this thing and it's almost done.

I've pretty much finished framing it up now. I added the shear webs, top sheeting and cap strips. I also built up the edges of the receiver/battery box. Next is onto trimming and sanding, then a quick steam with the iron in a few places before adding the hatch and wingtips.

Waddya mean slow?

You are right, I don't have a lot of hours in this at all.

Oh by the way, I ended up using all that balsa I stole from you and I barely had enough!

Well I haven't been able to get much done on it over the last few days, the only update is that I have done most of the sanding and built the hatch. Next I'll be setting up the servos.

I didn't work on it this weekend, but I did get the aileron hatches built on Friday. Now I have to cut the slots for the aileron servo horns, attach the lower fin, and bevel the ailerons. Then its on to covering!

Oh, I also installed the rudder and throttle servos. I also snaked the pushrod through for the throttle.

I'm thinking of something along the lines of this for a covering scheme. I think it will be cool to have two primary colors, in this case a dark blue and white, and have the design mirrored on each side but with the colors flipped. This way when I do crazy high speed rolls with it I'm hoping I'll get a sort of blinking effect between the contrasting colors. Either that or I am putting way too much thought into it lol...

Thats a good question, I can't find them anywhere now. I had bought mine a about a year ago from Horizon, but they have since stopped carrying them.
