stay with the bgx 3500!!! the evo is a fat dog. the bggx w a 20 prop will smoke an evo. its like racring a gm zz4 bbock red light to red light and u have a 383 with a whipple putiting out 728 hp. its super bad. the bgx gets a bad rap. heres the omly fix u need for this block.

enlarge all fuel supples, including the metela tubes thru the tank stopper. froget your plug and us a os 4 stoke. finally a 40 perry pump... last but not leats seperate your exhaust, remove center piece and extension and drill more wholes in the tail. its loud mena and nasty and all the oldys amd pussys on your field can say what the want but this combo burns up sundowners... evo is a cheap heay motor. my os 160 can out climb an evo 26 gas w/ same prop. so much so i am embarased for the othe guy. hey i know its a personal coice but bad is bad. you ever been in cessna 150 thinking u were cool till to f16 passed. dont listen to old people they r the ones whove put us in every major conflict in order to feed the military industrial complex. be different

Welcome to FG

BTW you are replied to a thread that no one has used in four years. I doubt that they need this information now.

you are not tottaly wrong in that people have posted the sam info on every topic multiple times, not just os engines. my god go to a heli site. there are new pilots everyday trying new things if ur not intersted dont respond. i think for the most part people on these sites wnat to see others succeed. oh by the way i got my bgx 4 months ago and pulled the most recent technicalmdata available not 4 yr old news
