It's april fools day.. BUT this is no Joke.. I picked up the 58'' extra from a guy in ATL.. It is Such a great flyer.. I traded my Aeroworks 50cc Extra 300lp for the 88'' Yak.. I love it.. I just knew it would fly great.. Maiden flight. I took off in Knife Edge.. It is Awesome..
My only problem.. I can't get this thing to flat spin for nothing.. I have my weight bout perfect.. Just a touch of down to keep level when inverted.. If you go on a 45 upline and invert.. It will go another 20 ft or so and gradually drop the nose.. I am going to move some stuff back just a bit more. This is one of the Best flying planes I have ever flown.. When I get done tweaking.. I hope it IS the BEST!!!! Where is ya'lls CG.. How do you get it into a flat?? LOL.. I think it has TOO much wing.. If there is such a thing.. LOL.. I love the plane.. Thanks Chris.. PS I skored the plane you sent with Mac Hodges. SO send him another.. Or better yet.. Bring more to SEFF.. Extras too.. LOL |

EF sells this light weight decking to mount it on for their Extra. You can prolly get some from them. You glue it to the canopy framing. Or do you already have the decking?

EF shows the 88" out of stock. I called them and they said about 3 weeks until the next container arrives. That should give me enough time to figure out which color I want.

Hi everyone. I need to know how tall the EF Yak 88" is at its tallest point. I just ordered one and realized it will not fit in my Yukon. So I am building a box to put on my trailer. The box will be 8' long x 4' wide But I don't know how tall to make it. Thanks for all of your help.

I can't see how it won't fit in your Yukon. Mine fits in a 2008 Toyota RAV4 Sport. I have to angle it slightly and push elevators down, rudder to the side. Have to also push passenger seat all the way forward and tilted forward. It barely fits but it does. I made a long board with wheel choks built into it to keep the plane from rolling when I'm driving.

Hi everyone. Is it important to use the louver plate in the engine cowl of the 88" E.F. Yak. And should the pull - pull cables be crossed. Thanks for the help.
