The gear has been fine. EF says the gear is like that on purpose so it will give in the event of a hard landing rather than having the airframe and gear plate taking the shock. I hope to try it out with some harrier landings this weekend! I am getting pretty comfortable with it after 5 or 6 flights. This plane and the BME 58 is a perfect combo.

I like Fromeco or Smart-Fly if I have to run regulators.

Hi pyroM!KE let us know how those TS-170's work for you. I'm running the 170's also they are noisy but have a lot of power. I got $60.00 off of the five that i ordered from Tower.

I got my maiden in yesturday and all I can say is WOW! This is the first time I have ever flown a Giant scale before, coming from nitro burners..Didnt have any issues and just a couple clicks of trim and a bit of mixing (thanks Josh) it flies with authority..Heres my setup..
DLE 55 really surprised me even being on the breakin flights, Pretty sure it will be a powerhouse.
7955's everywhere
A123 Rx 2300mah noBS
A123 Ignition 1100mah noBS
DX7
This is the best plane I have ever flown and I havent got to wring it out yet..This would be great 1st gasser for anyone..Verry smooth build. Not any isseus..I consider myself being an intermediate pilot and with the dual rates set low I almost think you could train someone how to fly because this thing really floats..Im in love!! Awesome job Extreme Flight on this truly incredible Frame

Glad you like it. It has a floaty feel to it for sure. Flies like a much bigger plane. I think it's the huge fuse.
