Whenever I get to the field it takes a while to get set up. I have to make many trips to the trailer and car. Just wondering if everbody else does the same. Reply to this thread with how many trips it takes you and why

Two trips.
1. Fuselage in one hand and the flight box, radio case, gas can, and wing bag in the other. 2. helicopter and starting stooge/restraint for the airplane. I can get it down to one if I leave the helicopter at home. Now for groceries, most of the time I can carry a whole cart load in one trip. It is not so much that I'm lazy, I just like to be efficient. ![]() Mike |

Minimum 10.
Whenever I get out to the field I always end up going clueless until I start to fly. 1. Say hi to people. 2. Check out field 3. Fuse 4. Wings 5. Gas 6. Other Plane 7. Transmitter 8. Wing Tube cause I'm too poor to afford wing bags. 9. Voltmeter 10. License 11. Drinks and food 12. What ever else I forget.

1 Trip, I pit at my tailgate....all assembly and fueling takes place there. When ready to fly I pull the plane up to the flight line, then start the engine and HUCK.

I am pretty much the same, 7 to 8 trips. Just depends what I forgot. I usually get a fresh piece of Orbit gum just before the 1st flight. ( peppermint )

Our field has 130 inch gates so i due everything at the van with the music up,when all is said and done i push the plane with one hand,TX case in the outher. After some gimble flexing and BSing in the pits i make the trip one last time for fuel and smoke cans.Gotta keep it simple down here,Humidity will kill a brutha.
