Default Futaba 2.4 Will we be able to send the 14mz to get the 2.4 built in?

Futaba 2.4 Will we be able to send the 14mz to get the 2.4 built in? I just dont like the 2.4 being a module. I would like to see the antenna being able to go into the built in antenna slot. Even if it means having a wire going down like the spectrum modules.

Just curious if anyone has any insite.

Jamie

I think that I am going to have to lay my money down, and say the answer is "No" to your question.
To me, that is what is good about the way Futaba is going about their module setup for the 12 and 14 radios, is to allow you to still use your old rcvrs.
I myself do not want to see any loose wires. That is just something to snag and rip out. You would not be happy at a contest when you step up tho the line and see the antenna wire broke.

I believe Futaba does the modulation in the module and there is NO difference between a radio built for 72 and one built for 2.4

that is a bit of a surprise
There may be no differences in THAT one but there is a difference in purpose built 2.4 radios and the systems using the crystal controlled systems of the past .
Futaba claimed to have the highest resolution with the 14 -and it is 2048-- but that resolution is also available in other brand 2.4 purpose built radios .
But we all know that -
why am I writing this?-
