Sorry for being slow off the mark with the reply but my butts been in a sling this week with work and I had just overlooked your question.

Ok the 8UAP only has two heli settings. None of which are ccpm sorry to say, but you can do it if your a wizard on the mixes. The two standard settings on the UAP are for the standard two servo setup being elevator and aileron (Cyclic) and a mixed throttle pitch. The other is for three servos but they need lots of mixing and tweaking to make them work.

The book you need to get a hold of for your 8UAP is called * Getting the most out of Futaba's 8 channel Radio control system* written by Don Edberg. I'm sure you can pick one up for a few nickels off Ebay as I'm sure they will be well and truly out of print by now.

If your a stickler for the 8UAP and want the S model Ebay often has them going pretty cheap as well.

But if your going to to look at another radio the 9C is hard to beat for the buck and they too are like flies on Ebay and some other auction sites. If not there's always your LHS or Tower.
