Aeroworks doesn't have a problem moving planes, and they have more than enough other planes to fill up the rest of the container if they don't fill them with Ultimates. From what I understand they already get multiple contatiners per month of product.
You and I might not be on the hook for one of these because of the state of the economy, but I guarantee you there are many, many other R/C guys out there with the spare cash to front for one of these. Heck, I might go ahead and get myself on the list just in case!

No. It means that aeroworks wasn't satisfied with "good enough". They found some places to shed some weight, came up with a slick cowl mounting method that virtually eliminates any visible fasteners, they lightened the tail to make the plane able to CG with a variety of engines without adding dead weight, etc. When I talked to them last year at the TAS(when they had the first proto) they said the only reason Jason Noll wasn't flying it in the competition was because of the elevation and heat there. They dropped a few pounds since then and now have 170's(first proto had a 150).
I can't wait to see this thing fly!

An ultimate this size that is set up for cans would be a REAL winner... I've got the H9 with a 3W 170 on it... standard mufflers. Its absolutely the loudest plane at the field. That may be exactly what some folks want, but I wind up staying on the ground more just to keep from making other people mad who may not want to put up with my plane while they are flying theirs.

That looks neat but that is not what they are planning on. It is a more traditional scheme, so I have been told.

From what I heard, she was just a woman at one of the shows.... she originally showed up with the Pitts Python, and when it was announced (maybe Tucson) a couple of years ago, she was in the crowd and was asked to take a few pics with the plane!

I bought one of the first batch of the Pythons, but despite my wishes... she was not in the box.

What a country!

Body werks,

I'd have no problem getting in line for one, I just don't know where I'd put it. I've had a plane "warehoused" in the back of RTK's store for almost a year now because I don't have room for any more. One of these days he's gonna get mad and charge me rent....
