Any parts I need to complete the build that are not obvious. Does it come with decals in place or d you apply?

All the parts I used where:

Plane
Motor
Speed controller
(you will need connectors and heat shrink for the above)
3 mini servos (I chose to use metal horns which were extra)
Prop (I got one with the plane, but can't remember whether it was with the package!)
Spinner is in the kit!!
Glue (epoxy and cyano)
Velcro
the obvious screw drivers, pliers, knives etc for building
other than that I don't think there is anything else!!

the decal sheet you get with the model is huge and you have to apply them, but the go on easily and really finish the model off.

Here is the instruction manual if you want to have a look over it: http://www.freestyle-rc.co.uk/flyers...8Extra300.aspx

Thanks Graham. Other than the stars I like the decals.

Does anyone know what the bottom of the yellow version looks like?

Thanks Graham. I'm glad that I am going with the red / blue / white.

Your scenery looks nice. Where is that?

Great thread and great build. Thank you for taking the time to share. However, It is kinda BS that the US does not get EF plannes first, afterall it is based here...

I was amazed when the 58" extra showed up as well, I thought the US would certainly have it first, but you're not too far behind, they are due mid november I think.

The yellow and blue version is nice but I think I prefer the red, blue and white, the yellow and blue photos are from a friends extra who is using the glow setup.

luckily I have a friend who is in to their photography and his camera is one of the pretty high spec ones, I know it is made by Canon but I would have to find the other numbers to go with it! lol
