I don't have mine here at the shop, nor do I have my camera but another option is to check our website and look at the manual for some close ups....if that doesnt help, PM me....

Here you go! Hopefully they come out ok, they are from my cell phone. If you need any more, let me know, I haven't finished building this one.

Hey guys what capacity 6S packs will work with this plane?

Would like to try the new nano tech packs from Turnigy.

Planing on using the Torque motor but with a Castle Ice ESC (probably the 75 0r 100)

OK gone with 5S 3600mah packs.

Question on the motor box, which way does it go on?? It looks like it has an off set to it.

The off-set is on the firewall.....when looking at the motor box the "Slanted" part is the bottom. The "Flat" part is the top of it.

Thanks man. Yeah figured that out after looking at a few build pics.

What size servo arm do you use for the rudder?

The manual says use what came with the servo (not very helpful)

We use dubro servo arms but using the Hi-Tech that double-arm that comes in the pack should work well too. Use the largest double arm they give you. It measures 2 1/4 inches. That will work just fine.

Thanks Wondered about the geometry and if to cross the cables or not, even though I would have to buy an offset arm.

I went for something different in servos. The new Spektrum digital range

For the ailerons and elevator I am using the H5000 and the A6010 for rudder. Am already using the H5000s on a Hyperion Extra 260 40e and they are fantastic. They are sold as a 3D heli servo but work just as well (if not better) in an aircraft application.

Different subject, but how far away are 70" Extra 300 EXPs?
(save some for the Australian shipment )

Need some help guys. The cowl seems to be too long! I mounted the torque motor as per manual to the box and went to install the cowl and I cant get the spinner back plate on.

Any ideas why it doesnt fit?

Thats interesting about the position of your motor Royster , i bought a hyperion motor for mine and had the same trouble , i just assumed the torque motor was longer
I have oredered some 20mm standoffs to fix teh problem

Roy, Kev from LARCS, the engine box on models exported from the US are designed for a longer hacker motor, I recieved an email from Extreme re this problem. I had to make some 15mm stand offs for mine, made them out of nylon rod, to fit the Torque motor. I have some left over which you can have. I will be flying this weekend , see you there. The larger engine box is actually heavier than the nylon stand offs.
