Alula build Thread
Okay people, I'm going to order another alula, and try to get people to see just how fun this little beast can be. along the way I will be showing some simple mods, to the Basic airframe. nayone is welcome to pipe in, and submit their take, or add something if the want.

heck yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is one fun lil glider, im do for a new one myself, highly recommend many caots of goop over fiber tape on the pod, and go nuts with paint marker, this thing is art paper! if you just ordered itll take 3 or so weeks for michael to get the kit made so get the artwork planned! subscribed.. heres mine for those not knowing what this is..

Ok meanwhile while the kit is on the way I started to make very light switch harness. It consists of a micro toggle switch, and a charge jack. you can embed both the toggle switch and the charging jach into the side of the pod on the alula, once you get to that time. This is very light(2.3 grams) and allows you to seal off the pod creating a slightly more aerodynamic structure all around.It also deals away with the hastle of plugging the battery into the Rx every time. remember use just enough solder, and not too much to keep the weight down. use thin servo wire to make your connections.

cool, i perfer the pluging to the rx, i have to untape it, but less junk on the plane.. i use duck tape to cover the rx and battery, i have to put a slot of tape on it upside down so it doesnt stick tothe rx and battery... either way works, my luck id hit the switch in a toss haha, oh also i dont cut the antenne like the manual says to, i just poke it through the side and tape to the wing..
