That's gotta be staged!!!! I don't care, I'm showing my wife anyway; she's gotta see that there are others who are worse off... I like bipes to, trouble is, 'half a plane' flies IMAC better.

I hear you! My wife and I are in a two bedroom. You'll notice the picture (of her!) that had to come down to make space for my Yak. See thread starter.

Nice use of space!

My wife and I bought our house about 2 years ago. Before (in the old house) I had about 1500 square feet to build and store airplanes. The new house was completely finished, so I unfinished a building room in the lower level ( about 12'X12' ) and purchased one of those ready built sheds. The shed is 12' X 16' interior is finished and has its own heat pump to keep my babies comfortable. Stores twelve giants with a little room for some field equipment. I keep my primary bird and back-up bird in my trailer.
Needless to say my wife is very understanding. Helps that my daughters love the planes also.

Rockin' avatar, Dude!

I'm envious of those of you who have space. I've gotta see I have enough $ to qualify for a mortgage...

I feel for you guys who have to store these large planes. 90 size helis' are not small either, but compared to a 35% airplane, it's tiny in comparison. I'd have to build a shed out back or something if I got into airplanes since my basement is the current hanger and once that gets finished there wouldn't be enough room to store something that large.

When not in my shop, they stay in the trailer in the garage. No way in hell my wife would ever let me hang one over the couch. I wouldn't even ask... You sir!! Are a lucky man...

Until I got my 30%er I was at the point where I could keep them anywhere exept in her room. Now I'm limited to the shed and the garage.

Some nice "hangers" out there. Scot, the starter of this thread, has been bugging me to post a few pics of my hanger since he started this thread. He and I are in about the same boat. 2 bedroom apartment and a bunch of airplanes to store. Difference is, I'm single so I can hang planes in my bedroom I've heard that "chicks dig it" The second bedroom is my shop. No pics of the shop yet because it's a bit of a disaster right now.

I delayed posting until my latest project arrived and now that it has I took some pics for your amusement and to shut Scot up. I'm getting tired of him nagging me to post some pics.

Cheers,
Dave

I rent a 10x15 Climate Controlled storage unit about 6 miles from my house. It is my little sanctuary. I'll get some pics sometime and show 'ya how I hung my birds.

Tow 28% Wild Hares, one Kat-70 Profile, two benches, a shelving unit and a rig on the wall for wings.

Plenty of room...for now...

Jon

I thought about it but since I don't a license and it would involve driving making it to my planes, that wouldn't quite work out.
