How did you aquire this bird?

I really think this plane that I am flight testing will be a real winner. I will tell you it is really, really fun to fly! I wil give you a hint that it is designed for a 150cc-200cc engine so the price will be good for getting a usable powerplant! I am flying the prototype plane with a 3W-157 and I have plenty of power.

There have been a few guys from Desert Aircraft that have come and seen the plane fly and have really enjoyed how it fly's and looks. I think it will appeal to a lot of people!

It will be at the AMA trade show so get ready to place your order. I have started production on this new plane in China but because of the size and cost I am only ordering a small quantity. If I get enough pre-sale orders, I will order a larger amount and a full-size container. Arrival date is going to be early spring 08!

Ok, it has 1 wing. So, it is not a bi-plane! The wing span is 168" Yup! 14 feet!

Just to keep this topic on the 52% Weeks, here is a picture from 2 weeks ago. I really like this picture as it shows the real size of this monster bipe! This plane is a lot bigger than my Pitts Challenger and the 3W-275 was the right choice for the airplane. Weimo manufacturing designed this plane around the 3W-212 4-cylinder. I am really glad I did not instal that motor! Wouldn't have been enough.
